The philosophy behind our investment advice is based on four pillars:
Emotion-free investing
Greed and fear are investors' worst enemies. When investors buy or sell based on these emotions, and not actual underlying valuation fundamentals, most often than not they make costly mistakes.
Long-term buy and hold
Creating wealth takes time. We do not intend to make large short-term profits by timing the market or actively trading. We believe in the power of long-term compounding of passive investing.
Diversified portfolios
“Do not put all your eggs in one basket” might be the single, most important advice an investor can receive. By investing in a portfolio of diversified asset classes investors can increase expected returns while lowering risk at the same time.
Low-cost vehicles
We choose extremely low-cost ETFs as the investment vehicle to represent each asset class. The compounding effect that maintenance and transactional costs can have over the returns of a portfolio can not be overstated.
